On Lake Caldaro, facing south-west, lies the Kalterersee campsite, also known by the Italian public as Campeggio San Giuseppe. The pitches are located a few meters from the shore of the lake, among the reeds and tall cypresses which, in addition to delimiting the individual spaces, offer privacy and shelter from the sun and wind.

Accommodations

The campsite has remained faithful to the most classic camping tradition and offers equipped pitches of various sizes. The smallest are those on the lawn on which tents can be installed and which allow you to keep your vehicle (car or motorbike) close by.

The larger pitches are ideal for caravans and campers and are equipped with connections for electricity, water, and even the possibility of connecting a TV with digital satellite connection.

Services

The campsite ensures that guests have everything close at hand: the area therefore houses a restaurant, a bar and a well-stocked supermarket where you can also buy fresh products, in addition to the typical products of the region.

Lake Caldaro

The campsite is located a few meters from the shores of the lake, in order to offer shelter from the wind and from atmospheric agents in general which can become annoying during rainy or windier days. However, access to the lake is direct and does not pass through busy roads but through the vines and vegetation surrounding the lake.

The wooden jetty is one of the highlights of Camping San Giuseppe: it recalls the seaside resorts of the past, where the boys gathered to drink soda. The pier returns that 80's nostalgia: from here you can dive, sunbathe, and enjoy the breathtaking view that surrounds the lake.
