Camping Markádia is located at the Lake of Odivelas which is part of a National Ecological Reserve. It was inaugurated in January 1987 to create quality tourist facilities and it is an ideal park for nature lovers, quietude, and the relaxing atmosphere of the Alentejo.

The accommodations

The camping area doesn’t have fixed pitches so the customer is free to choose where to camp whether it is in a tent, a caravan, or a motorhome as long as a minimum distance of 10 meters is kept from other campers. This way each group has more privacy and even closer contact with nature. Also, next to the campsite, there are 5 apartments available throughout the year.

The Services

The campsite area has 4 sanitary blocks with hot water, 16A Power outlets, a restaurant, clothes washing tanks, dishwashers with hot water, and a children’s playground. The recreational area at Markádia is located next to the campsite, there you will find a swimming pool, boat rental, tennis courts, mini-golf, and more!

All the area around is a paradisiacal place where you can really appreciate the nature and relax.
