This is much more than just a regular campsite! Over the years, the owners of Camping O Tamanco have been giving the site its own identity, taking nature as inspiration. They believe in caring for the land, sharing with the locals and guests, and living in harmony with nature. O Tamanco is a campground in the green heart of the Costa da Prata, between Porto and Lisbon.

The accommodations

Have easy access to spacious pitches for tents, caravans, and campers, or you can also experience one of our unique accommodations, like Yurts, Tubes, Cabanas, and our Artist Shack. 

The service 

The Cantina it's the campsite meeting point, bar, restaurant, garden, and lounge with a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy all day. It offers simple, homely meals with local products. O Tamanco offers a refreshing atmosphere, with a great variety of vegetation, where you will be charmed by the fragrance of shrubs and orange blossoms. Pets are welcome and there is a permaculture garden, plus a grain library for seed swapping (so you can plant your souvenirs upon returning home!)
