Camping Hoeve de Gastmolen is the most southern camping site in the Netherlands, located in the South Limburg hills near the Selzerbeek on the edge of Vaals. The unique element of this car-free camping site is its quiet location with many walking opportunities and the short distance to Vaals, Aachen, Maastricht, Liège, and even Cologne is possible. Only 6 kilometers from the campsite, you can get to the heart of the city of Aachen and its unique location where you stay in the middle of greenery, but the old imperial city is easily accessible by bike, bus, or on foot. For those looking for nature, right in the immediate vicinity of the campsite you will find some nature reserves such as the Snow Mountain, the Three Country Forest, Vijlenerbos (largest deciduous forest of the Netherlands) the Selzerbeek Valley and the Geuldal Valley.
